One of the most mysterious places on Earth is Antarctica, possibly because of the absence of humans and because anomalies and strange, possibly man-made structures are often discovered that tell of a very different past on the white continent, a past that history has not taken into account.
In January 2012, the GeoEye-1 Satellite photographed a huge, potentially artificial structure in the icy land of Antarctica. At first glance the strange oval shaped structure can be categorized as the remains of a huge building or even an ancient castle, like those existing on Earth.
Is it possible that an ancient civilization inhabited Antarctica when it was ice-free? The evidence says yes, it is possible. Moreover, even fossilized plants have been found, indicating that millions of years ago, this icy place had another climate, warmer and was a more suitable habitat for plant life, even for the animals; then why not for the ancient humans?
A huge castle in Antarctica?
Satellite images revealed a structure that, according to some theorists, looks too much like a medieval castle, or some fortress where members of an ancient civilization or even an alien species that arrived on Earth in the remote past could have taken refuge.

It must be said that if it really is an artificial structure, this would cause history to be rewritten ― an indicate issue for historians and for the mainstream scholars, no doubt. Is this the reason why many amazing findings (like this one) are not studied further and are left forgotten?
Unfortunately because it is Antarctica, independent researchers who could reveal an uncomfortable truth to the world do not have access to investigate beyond what a computer with Google Earth allows them to do. Therefore, we can only see satellite images, in some cases blurred or even modified for one reason or another.
It is also worth clarifying that what is seen in the images could have natural causes, possibly left by melting ice or for another reason. Some experts believe that it is just a perfect example of Sastrugi, a snowy surface that presents many topographic irregularities, modeled by sharp and irregular grooves. They’re formed by wind erosion, the saltation of snow particles and the very deposition of fallen snow, both in polar and temperate regions.
This is not the first anomalous structure found in Antarctica (and possibly not the last). Dozens of such discoveries have been made in the last few decades. Could there be hidden a secret, lost civilization beneath the Antarctica’s eternal ice that pre-dates historical records?
