Pontianak is believed to be a pregnant woman who has died before the baby was born. They appear with a long white cloth, long black hair and scary pale-face. They are said to be floated above a big tree and like to laugh loudly in their shrill voice to scare the passerby. They can also transform into beautiful women and stop some good Samaritans for lift, and they end up in the grave or even in the cliffs that have some sinister past.
